Yamunotri
[ Edit ] Yamunotri Temple
The main temple at Yamunotri is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. The present temple was built by Maharani Gularia of Jaipur in the late 19th century. It was once destroyed by an earth quake but subsequently rebuilt. A holy dip in the nearby tank filled by hot springs and cooking rice and potato in its water are the common rituals performed by the devotees.
