[ Edit ] Nawabganj Bird Sanctuary
On the Lucknow -Kanpur Road 45 km from the city of Lucknow is the Nawabganj Bird Sanctuary. The sanctuary has a natural lake within its premises and attracts a lot of migratory birds like Pintail, Graylog Gooose, Red Crested Pochard, Shoavller, Coot etc. Many of the migratory birds fly about 5000 km to reach here.
