- Abbott Mount: Abbott Mount is one of the highest habitable point in the Upper Kumaon hill ranges in Uttarakhand. Abbott Mount is located at a height of 7,000 ft above sea level, 435km from Delhi and 9 km from Lohaghat.
- Almora: Almora is located 365 km away from Delhi, at a height of 5,400 ft on a ridge atop Kashaya Hill of Uttarakhand and around 50 km from Ranikhet. It is a town bustling with activity and a rich cultural heritage and history. It is considered the cultural heart of the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand.
- Badrinath: Badrinath is a holy town of Hindu and a nagar panchayat in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Badrinath is part of the 'Char Dham" along with Yamunotri, Gangotri, and Kedarnath.
- Bhimtal: Bhimtal is a picturesque little town in the Himalayan foothills of Kumaon in Uttarakhand, located 22 km from Nainital. The major attraction in Bhimtal is the Bhimtal Lake which has an island at its centre, which is the largest in Nainital district.

- Corbett National Park: Jim Corbett National Park is named after the hunter turned conservationist Jim Corbett, situated in Nainital district of Uttarakhand covering an area of over 500 sq. kms. The park has been home to tigers, deer, wild boar, leopards, sloth bear, elephants, wild pig, chital, jackals, eagles, crocodiles etc. It is the oldest national park in India and contains 488 different species of plants and a diverse variety of fauna.
- Nanda Devi National Park: The Nanda Devi National Park is located in Chamoli District, in the upper Garhwal Himalaya range covering an area of 630 sq. kms. It was established as national park in 1982 and was inscribed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988.
- Rajaji National Park: Located in the Shivalik Hills of the Outer Himalayas and spread across 820 sq. kms. 23 species of mammals including tigers, leopards, elephants, deer, jungle cat, wild boar and sloth bear - and 315 species of birds are found in Rajaji National Park.
- Valley of Flowers National Park: The Valley of Flowers National Park is located in the upper Garhwal Himalaya range and stretches over an expanse of 87.50 sq. kms. The Valley of Flowers is internationally important on account of its diverse alpine flora, representative of the West Himalaya biogeographic zone.
