Suggested three day weekend in southern MP
My wife and I had a lovely 3 day weekend in MP. Flew in Thurs PM into Indore (from Delhi) and drove 3 hrs to Maheshwar (beautiful bathing ghats). We spent the morning in Maheshwar and after lunch drove to Mandu. We couldn't get a hotel in Mandu - so stayed in Dhar (45 mins away at the Jhiga Palace - lovely hotel with a great ambience. We spent the 2nd day exploring the ruins at Mandu. On the 3rd day (Sunday), we saw the sites in Dhar b/4 heading back to Indore for an evening flight to Delhi. A relaxing and a comfy trip. Had enough time to go shopping in Indore for famous Namkeens before driving to arprt.
